Michael Bernt
Michael Heide Bernt is a research engineer and technician at the mechanical workshop at the Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen, Denmark. Michael and his colleagues have made essential contributions to the design and construction of experiments flown on the missions Mars Pathfinder, Mars Polar Lander, Mars Exploration Rovers, Mars Phoenix Lander, and the Perseverance rover as well as contributions to support equipment for assembly and calibration of these experiments. Michael played an essential role in the design and manufacture of the Mastcam-Z calibration targets.
