Ken Edgett
Ken Edgett is a Co-Investigator with the Mars 2020 (Perseverance rover) Mastcam-Z and SHERLOC investigations. He is a Senior Research Scientist at Malin Space Science Systems and the Principal Investigator for the Mars Science Laboratory (Curiosity rover) Mars Hand Lens Imager (MAHLI). He has spent the last two decades doing science analysis and operations for cameras onboard the Mars Global Surveyor orbiter, Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, and Curiosity rover missions. His research is largely focused on the sedimentology and geomorphology of Mars. Edgett has published a few short stories and is the co-author of a children’s book, Touchdown Mars!
