Matt Clark
Matt Clark is a Deputy Instrument Project Manager for the Mastcam-Z camera system for the Mars 2020 Perseverance rover. As a Project Manager at Malin Space Science Systems in San Diego, CA, he is responsible for managing commercial and defense programs while participating in NASA instrument development. In addition to contributing to the development of lunar, martian, and interplanetary imaging instruments, he managed the 19 cameras delivered for DARPA’s Robotic Servicing of Geosynchronous Satellites mission as well as 53 other cameras for commercial and defense applications that utilize MSSS’s ECAM Imaging System. He has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from University of California at Berkeley and an M.S. in Structural Engineering from University of California at San Diego.
