Antonio Piras
Sunspot AR3664 (it’s the big dark spot on the left just below the equator) seen by the Mastcam-Z instrument on Perseverance on Sol 1147 (May 12, 2024) . This is the Sun spot that on Earth caused the strongest auroras since 2003. Acquired at 11:51:04 Martian time, using the Mastcam-Z L7 solar filter.
