Christopher Donaldson
Chris Donaldson is a Mastcam-Z camera operator on the uplink team at Malin Space Science Systems. Working there for the past several years, he has supported Mastcam-Z calibration, the testing of Mars 2020 Perseverance ground tools, and the uplink and downlink operations of the MAHLI, MARDI, and Mastcam camera systems on the MSL Curiosity rover. Prior to this position, he received B.A.’s in geology and geography at UC Boulder while working part time as a geochemistry laboratory assistant at the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics. Moreover, for the four years prior to that, he worked as an Aviation Electronics Technician in the United States Navy.
